OUR MISSION

Gallery 645 is the studio gallery of artist Constance Grayson, a contemporary art gallery located at 190 Jefferson Street in Lexington, Kentucky. We exhibit serious work by regional and national artists—painting, mixed media, textile, printmaking and sculpture—in a space that is deliberately welcoming rather than intimidating.

We believe that contemporary art belongs in every community and that the best galleries are places where people want to return. At Gallery 645, you’ll find strong work, honest conversation, good coffee and a book club that reads fiction and nonfiction about art and artists.

We are also home to Kids Place Lex, a nonprofit that provides free art classes to foster children in the central Kentucky area. The gallery and the nonprofit share a building and a belief that making art changes lives.
